Beautiful fabrics meets beautiful patterns. The rest is a love story.

I bought The Buttonhole in Chorley, Lancashire because I love sewing and fabrics. I didn't want our only fabric and haberdashery shop to close. What would I do without it?
I had a vision of making to order but to also make items from vintage patterns. It's taken me three years but here at last are some items.
Fabrics are now my life. I love choosing them. Then I get the pattern and decide which one will go with the fabric best.

Welcome to The Buttonhole. I make everything myself at my shop in Chorley. I believe that clothes should be practical, comfortable and very well made. So that is what you will get when you buy from us. All of our cloth is personally chosen by us to make sure it is the best quality and yet a fair price.
