Under the EU Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to return unwanted goods. This “cooling-off” period gives you 7 working days in which to cancel your order. The period starts the day after the day that goods are received. 

We kindly ask customers exercising this right to return the goods unused and in the original packaging. The Distance Selling regulations state that you are allowed to examine the products as you would in a shop, for example you can unpack the parcel and look at the items inside it.

To exercise this right please contact us. We will need confirmation in writing, as well as your name, address and a reference of what you ordered. Please submit this via email to thecollectorsyard [!at]

When exercising the right to cancel during the cooling-off period, goods are to be returned at the customer’s expense. You must use a reputable delivery service that can provide evidence that they have delivered the goods back to us.

Please also ensure that goods are packed with sufficient outer packaging to ensure that no damage is caused in transit. We will not be responsible for such damage and would suggest you take out insurance with your delivery service to cover this.
Once we receive your return request, we will send you the correct address to return the goods, this may not be the same address from which the goods were sent.
Items must be returned unused, repacked in their original packaging with any tags attached.
Any 'Gift with Purchase' must also be returned in its original packaging if applicable.
If the gift is not returned the value will be deducted from the refund.
Assuming that our return’s policy has been adhered to, eligible returned goods will be credited within 30 day of us receiving them.
Sale items are non refundable.

Personalised Items 
Please note that personalised items and items made to order are exempt from our standard returns policy. As these products are personalised to your specification, we are unable to accept returns unless the product is faulty or the personalisation does not match your original request. Please double check your request to avoid any errors.
Any changes to special requests need to be requested within 2 hour of ordering ideally by email thecollectorsyard [!at]
We accept cash and Paypal through for local pickup. All shipped items are to be paid for through Paypal. Please contact me if you wish to arrange collection of larger items or combined postage for multiple item purchases.
All items are located in South London.
All Orders are shipped via Royal Mail Postal Service or DPD Courier depending on weight and location.  
You will receive an email to confirm dispatch with a tracking number for your reference.

All orders take approximately 1-3 business days to dispatch unless they are a custom order request. In this case custom orders are dispatched as soon as they are made and finished. We will keep you informed with your orders status in this time.

Once an order has been placed, please let us know within two hours on email if you have any queries regarding the order. After this time we are unable to amend orders.

We try to re-use packaging where possible to help the planet. Most of our packaging has been previously used, including our boxes and internal wrapping.

Once dispatched, The Collectors Yard is no longer responsible for the loss or damage of the parcel. 

All orders will be wrapped carfully to ensure no damage during transit. If you do receive a parcel that has been damaged, please contact us on it's arrival.

If you live outside the UK please contact us and we can arrange a shipping quote for all items.

Any questions must be asked before purchase. The color of the images provided may vary to some extent depending on your monitor, every monitor displays color and brightness differently. Please ask any questions or concerns regarding colour before purchasing the item. Dip dye items vary slightly in colour dye to nature of the product.

Small hand crafted items made to order may vary slightly in colour/ print as shown in the picture. If you have a colour preference please contact me before purchase. Handmade items will otherwise be made up to look as close to the featured image as possible. Items made to order on request are non refundable.
