*UPDATE RE UK LOCKDOWN & DELIVERY*
Please be aware that there have been some recent orders which have been affected by delays due to lockdowns & the postal services struggling in certain areas.

I hope you're all keeping safe & well during this pandemic. As I'm sure you are all aware the UK is currently in lockdown. However as I am still safe & well in self-isolation, I can continue to make & post your orders from home. I am able to pop them in the post box here at the farm for the postman to collect- without having to travel or come into contact with anyone else at all. As I am uncertain with how the postal system will be affected for timescales I have increased mine- however, I will aim to get them into the box to be collected by the postman the same day they are ordered.

About TheIllustratedWisp
A wisp of joy in card form.
I’m Jennifer- Illustrator & one girl band behind The Illustrated Wisp.
Where am I...
I’m based in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside- a beautiful place to live & a source of endless inspiration! (All my designs, no matter how random some may seem, all come from a part of my everyday life right here!)
Where did it all start?
Well... from the moment I was old enough to pick up a pencil (or crayon!) But let’s fast forward...
I studied Graphic Design at Manchester school of art- and loved every second of it! It wasn’t until 3rd year that I started to play around with adding more illustrative elements to my work- which is really what reignited my passion for drawing! After finishing uni- I squirrelled away on building my own business & working on my designs in every spare minute I had, whilst working full time- that was always the dream- to have my very own business- my own studio- where I could work on my own designs.
Pre Lockdown I was working from my little studio in Buxton, Derbyshire- but Lockdown changed things a little, and since March 2020 I have moved everything back home for now. (I’ve been loving looking out the window at my bee hive in the garden).
And now, it’s 5 years since I became self employed as The Illustrated Wisp!! 5 whole years of living this wonderful dream of drawing for a living! (a lot of graft goes along with the day dreaming ...and giggling to myself whilst drawing new designs! BEST JOB EVER!)
And this is all thanks to each and every order of a card, commission of an illustration & each wonderful design project I have been lucky enough to receive from all of you wonderful people. Thank you so much!

All cards are printed on the highest quality 300gsm card- all card & envelopes used
are fsc certified. All cards are printed locally and assembled here at The Illustrated Wisp HQ.

Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
Every printed card is lovingly creased and cut by hand here at wisp HQ, and due to the nature of the cards being finished by hand it does mean that the cards may not always be an exact A6 measurement but are made to be approximately this size and will always fit their little matching A6 envelope.
Every item is hand packed and has been carefully quality checked. If, despite our best efforts, we have overlooked a defect of any kind, please let us know. You can attach a photograph of the defect along with details of when you purchased it, along with your order number and we’ll be happy to sort this out for you straight away.
We can offer you a replacement, a credit note for our shop or a full refund on the item. We may ask you to return the faulty/defective item to us before we can fulfill a refund, postage costs are not refundable. We deal with returns on a case by case basis, returns are not accepted unless there is good reason or a problem with the purchase which we can rectify for you.
Payment
Orders will be processed and shipped once payment has been received.
Delivery
UK SHIPPING
With all orders we aim to have them printed, packed and dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment.
However as we live out in the Derbyshire countryside, high up on top of a hill, there may be times due to the weather conditions where dispatch times may be slightly longer, (such as when it snows and we physically can’t make it down the track, we will always do our best but the weather is not something we can control).
All UK orders are posted out by Royal Mail First Class post.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All International orders will be posted by Royal Mail International standard delivery, which states on 5-7 working days for delivery on the
Royal Mail website.
*Please note buyers are responsible for any customs / related fees*
PACKAGING
All cards are enclosed in a cellophane sleeve for protection and posted out in ‘do not bend’, board backed envelopes for protection.
