Creating dreamy landscapes and celebrating the beauty in the ordinary......

Hello & welcome to my store...

I'm Janet, formerly a restless accountant and now a happy & contented creative business owner and a passionate photographer.

I love black coffee, colourful shoes, open spaces, getting lost in a book, trying new creative pursuits.

I'm constantly amazed by the power of photography to capture and highlight the beauty of the ordinary that we might not otherwise notice and I love how photos can be transformed into something quite different with the addition of textures. Sometimes I'll use just a subtle hint of texture, other times I'll add multiple layers for a more painterly effect.

I hope you enjoy browsing the shop, feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Frequently asked questions
How Do I Use Your Textures?

My textures are created to be added as a layer and generally work best in soft light blend mode.
If you are completely new to working with textures I have a very affordable online course available at www.definitelydreaming.com/texture-course/

Do Your Textures Only Work With Photoshop?

Although they are created with Photoshop in mind they work with programs that work with layers and blend modes and allow you to use a jpeg file as a layer.
If in doubt please message me or email janet@definitelydreaming.com and let me know which program you are using.
