Absolutely gorgeous designs on these mugs. I have got them as a Christmas gift so I don’t know the recipient’s reaction yet, but I couldn’t resist sneaking a peek before sending them on. They are beautifully packed too so I have no doubt they will travel to their destination well. I will certainly buy from this shop again.

I first received this as a gift and I broke it. I loved it so much I bought myself two. I like that it is lightweight and beautiful.

The votive pair was lovely except that one had a cyanotype print that was partly blurred.

Beautiful well designed mugs perfect for small cups of tea. highly recommended shop.
In a beautiful valley full of bird song and rolling hills, there is a house with a blue door nestled on a hillside. In this sweet place to be Sarah Middleton draws inspiration for 'The Way to Blue'.
Sarah’s bird’s eye view with the butterflies is a joyful celebration of nature. Influenced by her love of the British countryside from her Shropshire roots growing up in a house nestled in the forest, time spent living close to nature in a caravan by a fisherman's cottage, to now - the beautiful Conwy valley in North Wales. On the edge of Snowdonia her visual playground is now mountainous and coastal where her imagination and creativity are free to run wild.
Sarah’s most recent works are created using the old photographic process of cyanotype invented by Sir John Herschel in 1841. A light sensitive solution is applied to watercolour paper, objects or negatives layered on then exposed to sunlight, the solution is then rinsed off and the paper dried, fixing the image in glorious blue tones.
“As an artist I have always been drawn to the colour blue and its associations with nature and the infinite. I have also strived to capture light in my work so upon discovering the cyanotype technique I was hooked by its many possibilities”
Sarah uses this technique to capture our delight and wonder in the intricacies and uniqueness of nature.
