I am a single person business and it takes me time to make and pack orders so please bear this in mind when ordering - my processing times are as short as possible and I always ship as quickly as I can. Please allow sufficient time for processing and shipping when placing your orders. Please upgrade if you want tracked shipping and bear in mind I have no control of any delays which may occur in shipping.
Information regarding shipping:
I’m based in the UK so any OVERSEAS ORDERS will take longer to reach their destination please allow at least 30 WORKING DAYS for delivery - but please be aware this can be longer especially during busy times like Christmas - I cannot guarantee shipping estimates and delays can happen which are out of my control. You can choose tracked shipping as an upgrade for some items which I recommend you do if you want to be able to track your item in transit. I do not provide tracked as standard in order to keep costs lower, but please be aware if you don't upgrade to tracked, you cannot track your item.
Please check your address details carefully, I cannot change an address once an item has left my premises and will not be held responsible for items that go missing in the post as a result of an incorrect postal address. If an item is returned due to incorrect address, this is non-refundable and you will be charged postage to re-send.
Unfortunately I am no longer able to offer an express courier for international items as I have had too many problems with customers addresses for this to be a viable option. Please choose the international tracked as an alternative and leave plenty of time for your item to arrive. Please note that if you do not upgrade to tracked international shipping I cannot track your item in transit and I cannot be held responsible for delayed or lost post. My advice is to upgrade to tracked as it can help to see an items progress through the postal network if it appears to be delayed.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to ship to the United States or internationally?
I am in the UK! Royal mail website states that it takes between 7-10 working days from UK to US, however it can take up to 30 working days and sometimes longer especially due to the current circumstances. I am not responsible for delays during postage and I have no control over the postal service. If you have not received your item in 30 working days, please get in touch and I will look into the matter. If you chose tracked delivery, USPS may be holding your item awaiting a signature so keep your eye out for an attempted delivery card. If an item is returned to me I will refund your product price where relevant (if the item is saleable and non customised) but I do not refund the original postage costs as this is an actual incurred expense.
What are the Christmas postage and last dates for orders before Christmas?
Last orders & Christmas post times are noted in my shop announcement section for the current year usually at the beginning of November or as soon as practical after Royal Mail releases the dates. I am shipping from the UK: Please remember to factor in the time it takes me to make your item (usually 1-5 working days from ordering, check if unsure and especially if you are in hurry)
Although these dates are suggested by the postal companies as being the dates which will enable items to be received prior to Christmas, sometimes post is slower than expected and delays can occur particularly with international mail. I have no control of the postal system and cannot be held liable for delays that occur in transit.
What if my address is wrong and my item hasn’t been dispatched yet?
If you realise your address is incorrect after you have ordered and before your item is dispatched, just let me know ASAP and the address details on your order can be changed so it goes to the correct address.
If your address details are incorrect but your item has already been dispatched, unfortunately I am unable to take any further action as the address cannot be altered once it has been dispatched. It is possible that your item will be returned to me in which case you can have the item sent back to your correct address by paying any additional shipping fees. If the item is not personalised and is returned to me in saleable condition, you may be refunded for the cost of the item minus the original shipping fees paid I have paid.
What if my address is wrong but my item has been dispatched already?
Once an item has been dispatched I can no longer alter the address it has been posted to. If the item is returned to me I will contact you and can resend it if you pay the additional shipping fees. Alternatively if it is not a custom/personalised item and can be resold, I will refund the cost of the item, minus the shipping fees I have paid.
If the item goes missing in the post as a result of an incorrect address submitted by the customer, I will not issue a refund. I rely on the accuracy of the information and address details supplied by customers and orders are shipped to the addresses I am provided with. A refund can only be issued if the item is returned to me in saleable condition. I cannot be held responsible for customer error.
How can I track my item in transit?
Your item can only be tracked if tracked shipping is purchased. Most of my items are standard delivery which does not include tracking. I offer a tracked delivery as an upgrade at checkout and I recommend that you choose this option for peace of mind so that you can track your item in transit. Tracked shipping costs more than standard shipping therefore I offer this as an upgrade. Many of my items now ship for free with tracked shipping offered as an upgrade at a low cost.
If you have purchased the tracked shipping upgrade at checkout, a tracking number will be provided and can be seen on your shipping receipt and on your order. You can then track the item on your local mail website or on https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/
How are my items packaged?
Packaging varies depending on the item purchased, however I always use quality robust shipping products to make sure your item reaches you in perfect condition. Cards are sent either boxed if they have very raised embellishments or in cello bags within a hard backed do not bend envelope. Letters and envelopes are also sent in cello bags within hard backed do not bend envelopes. Most A4 books are placed in cello bags then placed in tissue and a box (pretty enough to give as a gift) then placed in a plastic outer bag to protect it in transit although some books will be posted just in the box due to size constraints. Leather items and other gifts may be wrapped in bubble wrap and bags before being placed in an envelope or box for posting.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
I do! This can be purchased during the check out process. It’s a great idea if an item is going direct to the recipient (although make this clear at checkout and check the address it’s going to as this can’t be altered once an item is dispatched) and I can print your gift message onto a tag for you to add to the wrapping. I use recycled/recyclable brown paper and rustic brown twine for wrapping with handmade embellishments to offer a stylish eco friendly gift wrap service in line with our rustic style. It’s a good idea to send gift items as tracked so you know they have arrived safely without having to ask the recipient and risk ruining the surprise! So remember to upgrade to tracked at checkout.
International orders, tax issues
Please be aware that if you are ordering from outside the U.K., you may be charged tax or import duties by customs in your own country when your item is received. I do not pay this for you and all import duties and taxes are the buyers responsibility. I always complete a customs declaration for international items which is applied to the front of each package, this states what the item is and the value of the item. I am obliged by law to do this. If you do not pay any applicable taxes which results in the return of your order, I will not refund your order but if you want it sending back to you, you will be charged the full cost of tracked international postage so that it can be returned as tracked.
Custom and personalised orders
If you have placed and order which is eligible for personalisation (please make sure you have chosen the correct options for personalisation where applicable), please make sure you add the details of the personalisation you require in the box provided or as a message to seller on the order page and check your etsy messages as I may need to send an image of your order before it is made or printed. If I don't get a response to my messages within 24 hours, your item may be dispatched without personalisation or as the image shown in my message to avoid delays. In rare cases an order may be cancelled or the processing times extended to take into account any delay. Personalised and custom orders are non refunable and cannot be cancelled.
