I originally trained as a Costume Designer and maker, and have spent years on various film, TV and music video sets styling artists, assisting designers and making all manner of crazy items. Giant embellished crown anyone? That one was so much fun!

Having worked in the crazy full on world of movies and fashion, Thursday's Child Design is about slowing down the pace and appreciating the good quality and love that lies in handmade items.

Thursday's Child Design was created out of a pure love for good quality, individual clothing. Whilst some might argue clothes are superficial, you can't argue with the good feeling a great outfit gives you. Clothes can make you feel good and tell the rest of the world who you want to be that day.

Something that's well made, whether that's by hand or a wonderful vintage piece (they don't make things like they used to!), feels more loved and unique.

Our handmade products are made in small limited runs, from materials picked up on wild and wonderful adventures, meaning you get something beautifully individual that you can love forever!

We take care to name each product range after a loved one, hence why your clutch bag has a name! I think it gives the item a sense of love too...

This shop has had all my love and attention poured into and I am loving every minute of the journey. Using the skills I have learnt over the years to create beautiful items for people is a dream come true!!
