Care Instructions

Although resin is a robust material, it is also precious and delicate and needs to be handled with some care. Follow the tips below to keep your Tiki piece looking beautiful.

*Resin is waterproof but avoid prolonged exposure. Remove Tiki jewellery when showering, bathing or swimming.

*Do not spray fragrances or perfumes directly on the jewellery

*When unworn, avoid leaving the jewellery on rough surfaces or in case of earrings rubbing against each other.

*Tiki jewellery should be stored in a smooth piece of fabric or box, avoiding any friction with other jewellery.

*When storing earrings, each piece should be individually wrapped, make sure the resin components do not rub against each other.

*For necklaces, avoid friction between the resin pendant and the silver chain/fitments.

Dirt, fingerprints and light scratches on resin are common especially on pieces worn regularly. To clean, gently wash the surface of your Tiki jewellery with a damp cloth or finger tips using mild detergent. To keep the glistening shine of your jewellery, frequent buffs with a soft polishing cloth are recommended. A little dose of your daily face cream will help.

A repolish service is available by contacting cecile [!at] tikibrighton.com. Cost is between £10-£20 depending on the condition of the piece.
