About

"I love your tiny hands in the palm of mine, and the fact they're good at making."

TinyHandEmbroidery was born in early 2017 after stealing that line from a Keaton Henson song to get its name, and sharing my blackwork embroidery hoops with the craft community online. I have been a keen crafter and sewist from an early age, after sitting on the kitchen table beside my mother as a child and watching her knit, embroider, and sew.

Inspired by the countrysides of Suffolk and Derbyshire where I grew up, every stitch of every hoop is done by hand, and the process of observing and recreating the details of the natural world is the driving passion behind what I create.

At TinyHandEmbroidery, I do my best to preserve and look after the environment which inspires my work, by using fair trade and ethically sourced cotton and thread to make every hoop.
