VOLFIdesign is an interior design company specialising in wall decorating, homeware fabrics and paper goods set up by Martina Volfi.

Rediscovering her grandfather’s patterned rollers, which have been used as a wall decoration in East-European countries for almost 100 years, she decided to bring these vintage and retro patterns back to life.

VOLFIdesign are still using the original equipment from the 1920’s – 1980’s and started to use it on fabric and paper so the beautiful patterns, created in the last century, are available to a wider audience. With a collection of more than 300 rollers, anyone can find their own favourite pattern.

Martina works from her studio in Surrey, UK. The printing process used by patterned rollers allow hand printed imperfections and gives each piece, either wall or fabric, it's own character.
