At Vanilla Retro I design personalised wedding cards and stationery to perfectly reflect the couple.

After planning my own wedding I was inspired to create a unique design service, creating stationery for couples that would show off their own personality and style. I love attention to detail, nostalgia and typography and have created personalised wedding stationery for couples across the world.

Opening your wedding invite builds anticipation for your treasured guests which is why I work closely with couples to create their unique message and design. From special Save the Date cards to be-my-bridesmaid cards, I’m proud to have had stationery featured in some of the most highly esteemed bridal press around.

Using the highest quality, FSC approved cardstocks and latest trends in paper design, I work from my home studio. I’m proud to have created a business that provides for my family and puts each bride and groom in centre stage.

    Some of our printing is handled out-of-house by an offset printer. We provide all proofs and check prints before dispatch. We chose a print partner who uses Sustainably Sourced card stock and recycles all waste to match our own environmental beliefs, whilst maintaining the highest print quality.

    Halesowen, England

    For our hipflasks, we use a Laser Engraver to take our design and apply this to our Black and Faux Leather hipflasks.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

PRINTED SALES - printed customzied / personalized paper goods:

Please check your details carefully as VanillaRetro is not responsible for any errors made by the client. I take pride in my work but for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase, please email me and I will do my best to rectify the situation. Printing by VanillaRetro will only begin once approval of a digital proof has been provided. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is your responsibility to check all proofs for errors or omissions. If you approve a proof for print and later discover an error, you will be charged a reprint fee of £25. If we are not provided with adequate time to reprint and dispatch to you in time for your wedding, you will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will only be granted if the mistake has been made by Vanilla Retro but only in the circumstances where we are notified of the error as soon as possible after delivery and if there is insufficient time for a reprint and delivery in time for your day. By purchasing, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions - please make yourself aware of these before purchasing.

Large Printed Orders are covered with tracking and insurance. If your parcel is lost or deemed undeliverable, I will try to rectify the situation as best I can. I take extra care to package and protect all orders, but if your order has been received damaged, please contact me with a photograph so I can process the claim.

In line with online distance selling regulations, customized/personalized orders are not available for refund due to the personal nature of the goods. This applies to all items which are tailored to you specifically

EU REGULATIONS - applicable to physical goods which are not customized / personalized in any way:

You have 14 days from receipt of your order to inform me that you wish to return it.
Once your order has been returned I will be able to issue you a full refund, less the amount you paid for postage.
Vanilla Retro is not responsible for paying the return costs of your order.
Should you wish to cancel, and require a form to complete, please notify me of this, and I will email it to you.
Of course, should your order be lost, faulty, or damaged, I will completely refund or replace your order.
Payment is required up front. Design will commence once all wording has been received. Please bear in mind that on Custom orders, no work will be done until the custom listing is purchased.
UK ORDERS: shipped via Royal Mail. Large orders (parcels) are shipped with Royal Mail Special Delivery which is tracked and will require a signature on delivery. Samples or small orders are not tracked and are shipped First Class.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: shipped through Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide. Tracking is only provided on large printed orders, not on samples or envelopes. Orders valued over £80 will be tracked. You will be notified when your order has shipped. Shipping time varies according to your location: on average, international orders are received within 10 days of shipping.

Please note that some countries apply Customs Duties to orders imported. We are not responsible for paying custom fees as this is a tax levied by your government. Please contact your local customs office if you are uncertain whether your order will be subject to Customs Tax.

I am based in the UK, so am generally contactable between the hours of 10am-9pm GMT. I do aim to respond to all conversations within 24 hours of receiving them, and digital orders are processed within 24-48 hours of purchase unless otherwise agreed prior to purchase. I do not work on Sundays, so files are not emailed across on this day unless for exceptional circumstances.

I aim to respond to emails within 24 hours, however, I may accidentally overlook and not reply. I apologise if this happens to you. Please give me a nudge and send me a follow up email to remind me if this ever happens.

The wordings in my photos are only for sample purposes. Minor text alternations will not accrue a fee. However, if there is too much text or if it affects the existing template, then please be aware that the overall design may be affected.

Inclusive of the price you will receive two free rounds of changes, whether they are text or color changes. If there are mistakes of my wrong doing, there will be no additional fee or included as part of the two rounds of changes. Please check your details carefully as I am not responsible for any errors made by the client. It is why I provide proofs.

I am delighted to get custom orders! Depending on the design, please allow around a week for the completion of a custom design. Rush orders will accrue a fee. Contact me for further information.

Frequently asked questions
Can the invitation wording be changed?

On all our wedding stationery, minor changes to the wording is not a problem. Please provide your alternative wording in the Note to Seller section, along with all your details, during checkout.

Can the fonts be changed?

On our wedding stationery, we have handpicked fonts which we feel best work with the design. However, if you have a particular font which you would preferred were used, please let us know. We have an extensive font library and hopefully will be able to find one which works for you.

How long does it take to receive my order?

After purchase, we must create a digital proof for you to approve. Once this is approved, your order proceed to print. The time between approval of proof and shipping very much depends on the number of orders being processed but is typically 5-10 days. The delivery time for UK orders is next day after shipping, and up to a further 10 days for international orders unless an express shipping option is selected.
