After 2 weeks of using my VeloCulture Smartphone Case and the CakeStopCaddy, i can fully recommend these great items, no matter what the weather at your ride is. I love the idea of re-using things, the extraordinary look and the careful finish. The CakeStopCaddy has already replaced my leathern everyday wallet because it's so cool. Dear Bev, thank you very much for the items and good luck. Sebastian

Excellent customer service - informed about my item being dispatched and my goods arrived within the published delivery times. The Cake Stop Caddy itself is practical, well made, and just as described on the website.

About

Recycling bicycling bits

I've made jewellery and cycled for as long as I can remember and often talked about putting the two together. Losing my job in October 2013 gave me the time and motivation to eventually do this and start Velo Culture. In November I began gathering friends punctured inner tubes, worn out tyres and cable off cuts and started creating. The first thing that I made were the recycled brake cable earrings and after that the ideas came flooding.
I love coming up with new items but most of all love the fact that the majority of materials used are upcycled and would otherwise have gone in landfill! They also have their own little piece of history, as a friend said a little while ago 'every puncture tells a story'. As a lot of the inner tubes I use are from the north east of England there will be a large percentage of those punctures happened when it's blowing a gale and pouring down with rain at the furthest point away from home! ;) It's probably a good job they can't speak as there'd be lots of **#@@'s involved.
Velo Culture is in its second year now and has got off to a promising start, but there is still a lot more to come. We've been shortlisted in a Guardian upcycling competition, featured on Total Womens Cycling and in Road CC's Christmas gift guides.
Give us a follow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too for sneaky peeks at what's new and giveaways.
