5 out of 5 starsWhen I was a kid I read a book about a boy with a magical red and purple marbled notebook that transports him to Venice. Well, this notebook didn't transport me to Venice, but it did transport me back to my childhood (which is magic in itself). It is possibly the most beautiful notebook I have ever owned, almost too beautiful to write in! It was shipped fast, packaged super safely, and is way more gorgeous in person than in the pictures. My inner child and I thank you, Vince!

My worktable. I do nearly everything here except trim book edges, for which I go all the way to the basement. -
A sewing frame, used in sewing groups of pages together. It's home-made, like nearly all of my equipment. -
A book in a finishing press. This one has just been covered in leather and the "ears" are being formed. -
The nipping press, also home-made, used among other things to keep books from warping after they've been covered. -
Leather paring knives ready for finishing; these are used to thin pieces of leather in specific areas for binding.
