Hi everyone! My name is Kat, and I am the artist behind Kat Stear Designs!
I specialise in making unique, colourful, unconventional woven wall hangings to brighten up the homes of those who dare to be different!
I took up weaving and fibre art as a hobby to help improve my mental health, after leaving a job teaching secondary science! I quickly discovered that it is very therapeutic and having a creative outlet is good for the soul!
I am mummy to two little girls who keep me on my toes, and the creativity and flexibility of being able to work and make at home means I get to spend precious time with them!
I am more than happy to do custom orders in any of my designs if you require particular colours. I am also happy to work with you on new designs. Please message me to discuss your requirements!
