We all have to start somewhere right?

I have had over 20+ jobs and careers to get to where I am today. I have been everything in and between. My past roles have included Apprentice Business Administrator, Receptionist, Customer Service, Accounts, Care Assistant, Nursery Nurse and Cleaner. I am also a Trained Nail Technician and a Lifestyle Blogger of 8 years.

In this time I have gained a lot of relative qualifications through college and distant learning. But my favourite type of learning is, self taught.

And that my friend brings us to our current day! I always knew I wanted to be self employed by the age of 33. My Mum is my inspiration behind that, having started her own business at that age. Although, I did not ever imagine having a business of my own, I just knew it was something I had to strive for. I guess I have always loved dancing to the beat of my own drum.

I never knew what I wanted to be at school but with the patience of my family and very long term partner Jason. I have been blessed enough to try out different roles. What might have seemed like erratic job changes at the time, is what has led me down the path to my true and authentic self.

So skip to age 37, I found my purpose and founded the birth of my soy Candle Gifting business, Where I Glow.

Personally I love Candles and would guarantee a new Candle purchase in every personal shopping trip. And once I got home, I would love creating a warm and scentful atmosphere at the end of a long days work. I know how it feels to do a long shift and I know that every Nurse, Nursery Nurse, Carer, busy Mum, Vet, Doctor, Receptionist, Accountant I've ever worked with would look forward to that special spa gift feeling of a lit scented soy candle gift.

Where I Glow create beautiful lux soy Vegan candles and soy wax melts. We do custom personalised Birthday candle and custom personalised Wedding candle labels and will be adding more to our collection of gifts soon!

Each soy candle and soy wax melt is hand-poured carefully in our Kent workshop.
