I live in the beautiful seaside town of Whitstable on the Kent coast with my husband Alex, son Max and our beautiful Golden Doodle called Doodles (named by Max when he was 4 😊).

I have always enjoyed being creative and find the seaside a constant source of creative inspiration. I studied Film and Fine Art at University and have made all kinds of creations with whatever I could find around me. As a child, my twin sister and I spent hours in our bedroom making robots out of tin foil, pet shops from tissue boxes and toilet rolls, and furry creatures out of bits of wool and fabric. I've always been drawn to making things as it feels like such a rewarding way to spend time.

I’m an overly excitable beach comber spending hours digging through the pebbles looking for treasure. Each find is like a gift from the sea and never stops feeling magical and exciting. I love making artwork from my beach finds giving them a new lease of life for other people to enjoy.

I recently added digital products to my shop inspired by the sea and swim swimming. I love learning new things and looking for new ways to be creative.

Alongside running my online shop, I teach creative subjects to University students. It’s an honour to spend time with young people who also love exploring ways to be creative.

I enjoy most forms of exercise especially running and cycling by the sea. The sound of the waves is very calming for me, especially since developing tinnitus over 10 years ago - I find the sea sounds help to neutralise my noisy constant companion. I also love baking cakes and watching films. I’m a big 80s movie fan - my favourite film is The Goonies which may be where my love of treasure hunting came from 😊.
