About WoahTherePickle
Linocut bits and bobs hand printed by the seaside
I've been lino printing for about 12 years now following a brief visit to Nashville's Hatch Show print and being completely inspired to give it a go myself.
I'd originally completed a BA in Graphic Design but it was printmaking that interested me the most. I started to teach myself different printing processes and techniques and kept going from there.
My subject matter is generally silly bits and bobs, inspired by places I've been, nostalgia and iconic objects or designs. The thing I love most about printing is that you never know what its going to look like until it's printed and if I peel back the paper and it makes me laugh that’s good enough for me.
In 2012 I was fortunate enough to return to Hatch and take part in their internship programme which taught me so much and introduced me to so many great artists and studios.
Above all I am a fan of printmaking. I spend god knows how much time looking at prints and probably more money than I should collecting pieces that catch my eye. Now all I need is a bigger house to put them all up!

Frequently asked questions
Are the prints framed?
No, all printed are supplied unframed and either in a card backed envelope or a tube depending on the size
Are the prints limited edition?
Nope, all my prints are open edition unless the listing says otherwise
Can I have the print in different colours?
Probably! We can give it a go, message me :-)
How are the prints made?
They are all printed by hand so you get all the quirks, textures and little imperfections that make your print unique and one of a kind!
Can I have it in a different size?
Normally not, sorry! They're printed directly from hand carved blocks, to do a different size I have to carve a whole new block!

Any Trackable Shipping?
All items are sent out either 1st Class for UK or Royal Mail Airmail for Outside of the UK, neither are trackable but are the best choice for price. If you want tracking message me before ordering and I'll look up how much extra there would be to pay.
CHRISTMAS SHIPPING
***CHRISTMAS SHIPPING TIMES***
When it gets festive round here that means shipping can take longer than normal. I send all orders with Royal Mail 1st class or Standard International, neither of which are guaranteed to take a set amount of time and actual shipping times can be a bit unpredictable around now, especially internationally and can take 4+ weeks to arrive in the USA from the UK for example. Sometimes it will only take 5 days, its a bit hit and miss! For this reason around the end of November I'll put up recommended last order dates so keep an eye out
(these are not guaranteed to arrive before Christmas but give you the best chance based on Royal Mail's services)
