About WonderfulThingsArt
Reproducing Masterpieces of Ancient Egyptian Art
Welcome to Wonderful Things Art, a digital art studio creating high-quality reproductions of masterpieces of Ancient Egyptian art.
I’m Natalie Watson, a heritage collections specialist and egyptologist living in Somerset, UK. I set up WTA as a way of sharing with others the joy and beauty of ancient Egyptian art, and as a creative way to indulge my lifelong obsession!
My reproductions are created digitally using only the original source material to ensure they are as authentic as possible. I do extensive research into the background of the piece’s history before I start, deciphering the symbolism behind the artwork and, where possible, translating the hieroglyphs.
I like to select artwork that isn’t as well known as the great treasures often replicated when telling Egypt’s story, bringing my archaeological perspective to every piece.
If you would like me to reproduce your favourite piece of artwork, or personalise existing items in my collection, please get in touch. I’m always looking for new sources of inspiration, and am happy to work with you to create a customised piece.
You can visit my website, www.wonderfulthingsart.com, to browse my full portfolio and get more in-depth information about the history behind my artwork.
