Traditional Techniques | Quality Craftsmanship

Wood Deluxe is a small company based in Manchester specializing in hand crafted, made to order and bespoke furniture and wooden products. Setup in 2013 by owner Matthew Standrin we take inspiration from the quality craftsmanship and traditional techniques of the past, then apply them to contemporary designs of our own.

For Matthew working with wood has always been a part of his life. His first memory of this was making (attempted) wooden railings for his grandfather at 7 years old. Before a number of projects throughout his early life until finally starting his joinery apprenticeship in 2003.

As a furniture maker Matthew applies this experience and passion (some might say obsession) to every item he makes. With an attention to detail and patience which is vital for any craftsperson.

Probably most well known for our range of pigeon hole storage units, we also work on many other projects. including shelving which has appeared on Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover.
