Announcement    Welcome to Wyldwoodwillow. Thanks for browsing my shop. I hope you enjoy the wares I have made as much as I love making them all. I started weaving full time 20 years ago in 2000. It very quickly took over my life and I then began willow coffin making, building living willow structures and teaching. I have been sharing the skills all over the country in my green yurt at festivals like Glastonbury,The Green Gathering, Wilderness Festival amongst others since 2003 but also for companies like Humble by Nature and more recently at my amazing venue - Usk Castle in Monmouthshire. My workshops at Tiny Homes Holidays on the Isle of Wight have been very successful these last 3 years.
Most of my willow for my baskets is harvested by myself and it takes me 3 weeks singlehandedly to harvest just over 2 acres of 23 different varieties just over the border in Hereford,Leominster and St Julians just outside Newport.
This seasonal work is very much part of the cycle of my year and allows me some beautiful coloured willows to make my baskets with.
As the months progress I hope to add my workshop gift vouchers and willow kits amongst other exciting things to my shop.
All the best and I look forward to meeting you or sending you something soon.

With the current situation of Covid-19 I am still posting out all Etsy parcels. I am trying to only post once a week and at present there is no collection from Parcelforce which means I am using Royal Mail. This means the postage costs may vary so please be patient if I get in touch to say the postage may cost more.
Stay safe and sane
