It all started one day when I was daydreaming about being on the beach! How I would love to live on the coast where I can enjoy everything the ocean and beach has to offer: surfing and beach-combing, sunbathing, fishing, watching sunsets and sometimes doing absolutely nothing but smelling the salty air and wiggling my toes in the warm sand… and of course I would have a house where I can see the ocean every morning when I wake up…

I live in Atlanta and escape when I can to the Gulf of Mexico or to the Atlantic ocean coast. My all-time favorite is Navarre, Fl. America's truly best kept secret. It’s not so touristy and since me and the kids been there quite a few times, we like to think that we are locals – lol

So while I am dreaming about living close to the ocean, I put my dreams into the ocean inspired items to keep my spirits sunny and my hopes alive. I especially love the quirky and beach inspired sayings, it always puts a smile on my face. I truly think that life is better in flip flops, summer dresses, sunglasses and with a smell of sunscreen! I guess you can call me a beach bum –lol

My mom on the other hand adores higher end items in life, she has a way of turning ordinary into extraordinary. My mom loves city living and sophistication, elegance with a touch of poise. She adores gold and pearls, antique lace, and classic items which never go out of style. She is one elegant woman with an amazing taste.

And while we are so different- me and my mom, we have fun creating together and giving each other opinions. Some of the opinions get implemented and some just get ignored… we are mother-daughter after all. Many of our items have a mix of both of our personalities, but some items are unique and different as we are.

I don’t have a beach house …yet, but there is a place for everyone in our beach house on Etsy, we treat everyone as a family and if you like, this can be YOUR beach house too.
