I have been collecting and dealing in Antique textiles, costume, accessories and anything else that catches my eye, all my working life, as it has been long, I consider myself fortunate to be doing for a living what I most enjoy!
I look for those special one of a kind antique/vintage pieces for creatives who use them to make something new & unique.
I am an inveterate hoarder, you never know when you may need that tiny but glorious piece of antique trim. Finding these treasures is not as easy as it was 40 years ago, I still enjoy the search though.
I always buy what I like, it has to be beautiful or interesting, preferably both, for me - quality, colour, texture and design elements are all important, not necessarily in that order. All four is a 'must have'.
