I didn't actually see the item but I'm sure it was just as lovely as the pictures displayed online and, as my friend used to be a chef, if he was delighted with it then one knows that it was very good quality! About amarachstudio
“Amárach”
The word “Amárach” in Irish Gaelic translates “Tomorrow”, a fitting name for a small studio workshop we think with only two crafters from the North of Ireland that started around 2015 as a hobby making wooden jewellery boxes and wooden wall plaques.
Now we enjoy making home décor and bespoke gifts and items with our unique twist. We love to make items from wood, reclaimed, upcycled wood and Irish sea driftwood,
Benefits of Using Upcycled, Recycled or reclaimed timber-
Rustic, affordable and good for the environment.
Preserve Natural Resource, the more wood that is recycled, the less trees that have to be felled. Decrease Greenhouse Gas Emissions and holistic Waste Management.
Reduce Costs. Reprocessing recycled materials is far less costly in terms of materials, energy and money than using virgin materials.
One of the most obvious and best benefits of using reclaimed furniture or home décor is the fact that it's eco-friendly! We all know that over-forestation means there are fewer trees out there in our forests, woods and jungles. It’s therefore important to preserve what little is left. When you choose furniture or home décor made from reclaimed wood, you are helping the environment because they are basically recycling old wood, which in turn prevents the need for further trees to be cut down.
Reclaimed wood home décor has natural aged colouring, indentations and various other imperfections of wear and tear that will create a unique and great visual individuality that will leave a lasting impression on your homes interior design.
