This item was everything I hoped for and more - beautiful piece, exceptional quality - and well-loved by my daughter who received this as a gift for her 21st birthday! Thank you - highly recommend this artist!! So glad I stumbled upon her work via Instagram...

I worked on two sets of etched feather earrings at the same time. The larger of the two still needs to have the wire soldered on place before polishing.
Just finished sawing out the mountains from the sheet metal, and have place them on the rectangle pendant. Next step will be to saw out the stick pines and hand stamp the “snow” on the mountain peaks.
Work in progress of the earrings. Just finished sawing out the rectangles and the stick pines on one of the earrings.

About

From Psychology to Jewelry Design

Truth be told, being a jewelry designer wasn’t on my radar when I left home and went to college. I started out earning a degree in Psychology, and was working my way towards a Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology when I met and married a handsome Naval Officer. Shortly after getting married, my health took a turn for the worse. Designing jewelry gave me an outlet to take my mind off of my chronic pain, and a great way to express my creativity and bring joy to others. Besides, having a career in the work force can be very challenging when you are moving every couple of years! Designing jewelry and starting my own business just made sense for this creative soul in a nomadic lifestyle.

I am all about creating high quality jewelry that doesn’t easily break, and that is timeless and can be worn with just about any outfit. Attention to detail, quality metals, beautiful gift boxes and incredible customer service are all part of the experience. I truly enjoy bringing a smile (and sometimes tears of joy) to my customers.

Living in the Pacific Northwest and being surrounded by stunning scenery has inspired me to create pieces that showcase my love for this area of the world. I am very passionate about sharing my love of the Pacific Northwest scenery in my creations, and hope you can feel that passion in each piece.

Follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AmbersWhimsy and on Instagram at www.Instagram.com/AmbersWhimsy to check out all of the photos of current and past pieces, and get the latest scoop on sales and free giveaways. If you live locally in Washington state, you can find my creations at Re-Feather Your Nest in Mt. Vernon, and at the Anacortes Vintage Market in Anacortes, WA twice a year (October and April).

Thanks for checking out my Etsy shop! I’m looking forward to serving you and providing you with a little piece of the Pacific Northwest.

Additional policies and FAQs
Want to place a custom order? Simply send me a message letting me know what you are wanting, and I'll see what I can do to help you.

Care of items: With proper care, your items will last for years to come. To help prolong your jewelry wearing experience, do not wear your item in the shower or in the pool, or while playing sports or any other heavy duty activity. Sterling silver, brass and copper will tarnish or develop a patina over time. Some people love the look of metal with patina. If you aren't one of them, never fear! I include a small polishing pad with almost all purchases. It has special micro-abrasives in it to help keep your item sparkly and shiny. It can be used until both sides are completely black, then tossed. You can also use a polishing cloth (Sunshine is my favorite!), which can be purchased online.
