Trying to make the world a nicer place through crafting

Betty Virago is a social enterprise craft business that uses crafting to support vulnerable women.

Joy, the crafter behind the business is an award winning Knit designer and is passionate about crafts and it’s amazing ability to motivate others.

The My Little Crochet Dolls have won both local and national awards and shown in exhibitions across the country.

We also run a quilt of hope project offering pay as you feel quilting workshops which make quilts filled with messages of hope, these quilts are then given to women’s centres to be used by women at their most difficult times.

Betty Virago is a Yorkshire based craft business, we use local and small suppliers for our materials so you're not just supporting one small business, but many.

We also support vulnerable women through our quilting project (www.quiltsofhope.com) and pay-as-you-feel craft classes, so you're also supporting projects that work with vulnerable women.

Please if you have any problems with your order.
Returns and exchange details
I value your custom, so if there is something you are not happy with, please get in touch. There are always ways to resolve problems.
If you're returning an item because you simply change your mind let us know and if you don't mind, please pay for the postage (that's fair I think).
But if you think we've messed up, let us know and let us fix the problem.
Payment
Etsy has a great payment system and we recommend you follow their instructions and pay through Paypal or your credit card. Especially if you are not from the UK.

However, if you are from the UK and don't use Paypal (there are still some of us who use the paper money) get in touch because we'd hate to think modern technology stops you from enjoying our products.
Delivery
I try to post orders the next day, if you've paid through Paypal then you're covered through their system, which is an added bonus really. If you want a signed for package contact me when you place your order and we'll get that sorted (it will cost a little more).

I try to offer free UK postage, but I don't offer free postage to non-UK locations.
Let's be honest, postage is never really FREE, and I won't increase my item costs to cover free costs.
