Blue Moon Emporium started as a craft booth at farmer's markets, I (Cathy Stratton, owner) made glass fused necklaces with pictures on them with the help of my drawing partner Emily Reetz. What started as a girl from California making a new life in Wisconsin with her Wisconsin native husband and turned into a full blown Wisconsin gift shop for emerging crafters/artists.

I had always wanted a shop that was unique, quirky, kind of like Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. The Blue Moon part came because I wanted the items to be unique and something you don't see everyday. What all that translated into is a treasure to me because there are so many great artists who make it a beautiful place.

The brick and mortar shop is in Appleton Wisconsin, it's small, cute, the go-to shop for all locally handmade high quality products, with a strong Wisco love attitude. Our mail focus is supporting local artists, secondarily we produce many local products like, tshirts, mugs, pint glasses. etc. Look around our etsy shop, it's a smattering of what the shop has is it.
