About
I Love to Sew!
I have loved sewing for years. Growing up, I was compelled to make things- all kinds of things. After I first tried to sew on my mother's old sewing machine around age 6, I was hooked! Fast forward many years, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. I designed and made everything from swimsuits to career wear to costumes, special occasion and wedding gowns. I began teaching sewing as well. Then marriage, kids and cats. Needing to work while still being at home for the kids, I decided to give etsy a try. Designing sewing patterns has given me a way to teach even when I am not in a class full of students.
