Frequently asked questions
Should I opt for standard or tracked and signed for shipping?
If you opt for standard delivery, your parcel is insured for up to £20 in the event of loss but the claims process can then take a further 28 working days. If you opt for tracked and signed for services with additional insurance, your parcel will be insured for its actual value. Again, the claims process can take 28 working days. If I can replace and resend I will make every effort to do so but only if the sum insured will compensate me for the second package.
Is my parcel late?
If your parcel has not arrived within 7 working days (UK), 14 working days (EU) or 21 working days (Rest of World) of receiving your shipping notification please contact me. I can then update you on the time required until we can claim for parcel lost during shipping.
Is my address entered correctly?
I rarely have parcels that get lost during shipping but it can happen. To reduce the risk, please make sure that your address is correct when you place your order. I reserve the right to convo you with a request to confirm or resupply a correct address if I notice any potential problems. This is particularly necessary when I ship a parcel outside the UK. If I do not receive a reply, or you do not confirm your shipping address within 7 days, I will cancel the order.
Do you accept convos in languages other than English?
Due to problems with one isolated order, I now require all correspondence to be in English to avoid misunderstandings. You can use Google translate to convert your message and then please check it with a native English speaker. I am not able to spend the additional time required to do that when processing orders. Thank you for your understanding.
Shipping to Canada
Due to the long delays on parcels sent by standard shipping to Canada it is with regret that I can now only send items with the International Tracked and signed for service to Canada. Even this is not ideal as tracking does not work once the item has left the UK as their is no reciprocal tracking information available in the Canadian system.
