Video summary: My letter catchers are easy to install, fit most letter boxes, and don't require screws or holes, so they are great for renters too.

Who Knew a Letter Catcher could be so handy

My letter catchers started out as a solution to the neighbours new dog eating their post. They could not use a cage as the door opened onto a wall. It took quite a few attempts to find the ideal way to make these, and a few more attempts to get them just right. I'm now at that stage where my customers and I are happy with the finished products. After making the first few it became apparent that these do much more than just catch your post and hide it from greedy K9's. They also help to reduce draughty flaps, help to stop people peeking through your letter box to see if you are home, and reduce the risk of someone fishing for your keys. But there is more too. If you have a glass panel near your letter box, the build up of mail on the floor while you are away is a sure sign that you are not home, its like a beacon for burglars. And if you get items like Wax Melts through the post, there is less chance of them breaking as the package does not hit the floor. Great for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility or a bad back, as there is no more bending down to pick up the mail. And because they attach with sticky hook and loop strips, there are no hard fixing or holes required, so can even be used by renters without having to damage the door first.

Now you know all about how these came about, I hope you can see a benefit to you.

Stay Safe and stay well. and always, be kind.

Frequently asked questions
Is my packaging eco friendly?

Yes. I use cardboard boxes, unbleached paper wrap, and paper tape for my items. I will also recycle boxes from orders I have recieved. If I ever have to use bubble wrap, (and it's very rare I do) I have a stash of this from orders I have recieved ready for reusing.

How long does postage take?

I aim to dispatch (non custom items) within 24 hours (monday to saturday) wherever possible. I will send you a proof of postage after being taken to the post office so you can see it's on the way. For custom items, this can be discussed at time of placing your order.

Sizing details

I always try to put the sizes on my listing so that you can easily see if it's right for you. But if you ever want more detail, please ask and I will try my very best to help you.

Where do I get my fabrics from?

Where possible I purchase from other UK small business. I also get fabrics for recycling from a local hospice charity.
