Started because wanted flexible work, from home, doing something we loved.

We started the business when our previous employer closed up and left the country!!
The name comes from the first letter of our 4 surnames ( originally there were to be 4 of us)
Today we have 2 of us permanently and my daughter when needed especially for designs of dogs.
She also draws and prints the cards.
Janet and i live just 100 yrs away from each other 4 miles form the nearest village of Fyvie.
Janet recently had a part time job in the local Post Office which was very convenient for posting our orders. Unfortunately like most communities in UK it closed and our journey to the Post office has become a 20 mile round trip.

We work from my home, a small cottage but fortunately with an outbuilding as my workshop- i do the designs and cutting and janet does the dying, varnishing and prettying up.

Most of our selling these days is on the internet as we find it uneconomic to travel far and wide to craft fairs and weekends are pretty busy with our personal lives.

Dach Crafts is a small company based in Aberdeenshire, north east of Scotland.

All items are hand made by us here in Aberdeenshire. We source our wood locally and try to use recycled wood where we can. ( cards are hand drawn then digitally inked.)

We are happy to adapt our products to customers needs. Once altered then no returns are possible.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 21 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Refunds are made via PayPal when a problem is resolved.
Payment is required on ordering.
If the item is agreed to be substandard then a replacement is offered or if that's not wanted then a refund is given.
The substandard item will be returned to us before refund.
If the item is perfect but the owner is not happy with it we will consider an exchange but the purchaser must pay the return postage.
We ship using Royal Mail.
