5 out of 5 starsWorks great, good quality STL file, prints perfect. Like all tools, not perfect for every occasion. The vacuum attachment will keep you from moving the fence much closer than 3/4".

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and very glad to hear it printed well for you! With regards to clearance, one option is to flip over the little shelf piece from the back of the fence. It has two heights it will snap to place at, one for wide cuts where the fence is off the saw and you need more support, but there is also has a higher setting that sits at the height of the saw top. This lets you get right down to zero clearance even with the vacuum attachment in place, I believe it was for this exact purpose when using the stock blade guard and it works the same here. Hope that helps!

2 out of 5 starsno mounting hardware or instructions

Sorry to hear you were confused. The product description is very clear that you reuse the two factory screws from the blade guard. It replaces the blade guard and reuses the riving knife as is very clear from the photos, and being just literally the same two screws you remove to take off the factory guard, I had not considered that instructions would be necessary. Thanks for the feedback.

2 out of 5 starsWould be better if it was see through , also limits the thickness of what you are cutting and is hard to get a push stick under , does reduce the amount of dust

Sorry to hear that the item did not match your expectations. I honestly cannot see how it obstructs the thickness of what you are cutting, it's attached to the riving knife and lifts with the blade?! If you mean it restricts the width of the cut, then you need to flip over the little flat ledge which is part of the fence on the saw. The ledge has two positions when flipped over, one lower one as a support for super wide cuts when the fence is off the side of the saw, but it also has a higher position for cuts very close to the blade. They designed it like that because the factory blade guard, which this replaces, is actually a lot wider still than this part. Please reach out if you are still having a problem and I can send a photo to show how it works all the way down to zero clearance in width.
