My Story

I got started in 2017 when my mum's best friend, Julie, lost her dear Springer Spaniel, Alfie. I was asked to do a pencil drawing of Alfie, as I had recently been drawing pets with their owners in my A-Level art project. When Julie received her drawing, she was absolutely thrilled and so happy that she could keep a special piece of Alfie in her home. She then asked me to draw her other dogs and before I knew it, I was being recommended to friends of friends of friends.

I then decided to set up a Facebook page to document my doggy drawings and had more and more requests. I have grown up around lots of dog and animal people, so there were plenty of portraits to do! I also did a couple of oil and acrylic paintings during the time between now and then, but pencils were always my favourite.

Recently, I started to use Polychromo Coloured Pencils which I have seen great reviews about. I instantly fell in love with them and began to offer coloured pencil pet portraits and animal art as new products. Recently a lot of free time has come up, whilst I take my placement year of my degree, so I intend on developing my skills and portfolio.

Thank you for supporting my shop!

Frequently asked questions
Gift wrapping and packaging

Each product is gift wrapped using bubble wrap (if necessary), tissue paper, ribbon and gift tag (optional). All postage packaging is reused. Should you have any preferences on gift wrapping and packaging, please do not hesitate to drop me a message!

Sizing details

The sizes presented (for example 10"x12") is the size of the piece of paper that the drawing is drawn on to. Part of this may be covered by the mount or frame, depending on the options that you choose. Each frame has different measurements so size depends on which frame you choose for your bespoke pet portrait. If you're unsure what size is best for you, drop me a message and I'll make a recommendation.

Photo Quality

If you are commissioning a bespoke pet portrait, it's really important that you supply a photo of the highest quality you can. Ideally, I need to be able to see individual hairs on the animal, and eye details such as reflections. The better the photograph, the better the portrait! If you are struggling to get a good photo, please don't hesitate to get in touch for some tips!
