I love my zombie bunny pin! It arrived quickly in the cutest little box with a thank you card, which felt really personal and special. I will be back for more!

About

ejits by Emily J. Taylor

I love character design and illustration. I made my first toy when I was studying for my degree in animation and after I graduated I made more for friends and family and the idea then started to turn into a small business designing and making soft toys.

I have been selling these weird little critters for almost 10 years and the brand and focus have been evolving and changing over those years. For a long time it was a hobby but more recently I've been taking it seriously. I have gone from a purely soft toy designer and maker to an illustrator and character designer. Toy making compliments what I do as an llustrator because I focus on character design and the characters can be used across media from art prints, greeting cards and toys to future story books and animations.

I'm inspired by so many talented illustrators and designers and so many styles. I love kawaii, creepy, cute, gothic, fantasy, woodland, Steampunk, Saturday morning cartoons and retro fabrics. All of this inspires me to create some very funny, tubby, cute, sometimes a little creepy, characters.

Emily J. Taylor Illustration is a small handmade business, I design and make these cute little soft toys and characters myself. The toys are made from all new materials with polyester toy filling. They are unique as each one is handmade and their strange shape and designs make them interesting odd gifts for all ages.

My toys are suitable for children with parents who are looking for something alternative to big brand names or just something a bit unusual but they also appeal to adults who love funky fabrics and cute faces. They are suitable for young children and do appeal to them, if you need to know more about the suitability of the toys for a child please don't hesitate to contact me via hello@emilyjtaylor@.co.uk.
