Boho brooch in denim blues and pretty pastel greens, layered with lace and finished with buttons and a shiny sequin. A super accessory for the Spring and Summer wardrobe.
A few of my friends have the pleasure of owning a greyhound, they are a most delightful breed of dog, wonderful companions. These two little items have been designed for the greyhound lover in mind.

About

How the love of creativity lead to my own little business.

As a child I remember the quiet calmness of listening to the scratching of the pencil as my Grandma made a simple sketch on rough paper. The excitement of turning bed sheets, over-sized clothes and crepe paper into the most stunning princess dress on a Saturday afternoon! I think my Grandma, and my Mum too with her love of make do and mend, stirred the beginnings of my passion for all things creative.

Hand sewing is the thing I enjoy the most - all my wallets, necklaces, brooches and keyrings are made with great care. Each new item starts as a "light bulb" moment and is sketched in my leather note book, then created, often from fabric scraps and unwanted embellishments. There is something very lovely about an item made by hand - the notion that it’s unique and carefully finished and the knowledge that no two items will be exactly the same.

Living with my family in a little corner of rural Lincolnshire, I am fortunate enough to witness beautiful and inspiring scenery, forever altering due to the quick changes in weather. Finding time to concentrate on my creative work, when life can be so hectic, is a time I enjoy immensely.

** Please remember little bits and children sadly don't go together. Items available at Ellie's Treasures may contain small parts so please exercise caution when purchasing for giving to young ones. **

Frequently asked questions

Paying through Paypal - you can use a credit/debit card or Paypal balance

Ellie's Treasures prefers payment by Paypal, selected at checkout. It's very easy and safe to set up an account but if you'd prefer not to do this, you may still use your credit or debit card to pay for goods through Paypal. Select "checkout with Paypal" then select "pay with credit or debit card" (this Etsy article may help https://www.etsy.com/uk/help/article/361 ). Should you experience problems paying for purchases please get in contact so I can try and help.

Should you have problems with selecting a payment option, please choose "other" and I will be in touch with a Paypal invoice.

What happens after I’ve purchased?

You should receive a confirmation email from Etsy and Paypal with your purchase details. Items are normally mailed the following day (Saturday and Sunday orders are usually mailed on the Monday) and a confirmation email from Etsy will inform you that your order is on its way. UK items are mailed 1st class and overseas via Air Mail. Please remember to allow sufficient time for your goods to arrive - packages destined for Europe can take up to 10 days to arrive, those travelling further may take up to 14 days or more, especially at busy times.

How will my item be presented?

All items are neatly presented as described in each listing. If the item is being bought as a gift and you would like me to include a personal note I am more than happy to do this, just let me know.

To help the environment, when possible, I recycle padded bags for mailing goods. Should you wish to receive your item in a new padded bag, please let me know at time of purchase.

Colours and sizings

Please remember all items are individually handmade and I try to give a thorough description with approximate sizing and clear photos for each product.

Please bear in mind that at times it can be extremely difficult to show the exact colours of an item through photographs and computer screens seem to vary in how they display colours too.
