About

I enjoy working with wool whether it is organising kits and supplies my favourite thing is working and making unique items.

I have a passion for creating especially with wool I make needle felted Fairies, fairy accessories an kawaii I also make 3D and 2D pictures among other items, I also occasionally crochet, do basic weaving and hope perfect spinning in the near future.

How I Started

A few years ago I had a pretty bad fall and while recuperating, not one to sit still I decided to do something creative with my time little did I know where it would take me. I started off with crochet again (having not picked up my hook for almost 10 years I was slightly rusty to say the least) after that I started to retry other crafts and learn some new ones too. Having always had a bit of a creative side I just never really knew what to do with it.

When I started out needle felting again I just knew I'd hit on the one this was the craft for me (needle felting is using a single or multiple barbed needle to tangle the fibres together.) it's so tactile I love wool, I love the feel, the texture, seeing the item take it's shape. I enjoy making every item which as it's hand-felted is unique. I decided to open my shop after selling some of my items and I love sharing what I have made. I even teach classes now.
Because of my online success it has given me the confidence to open a studio/shop where I work 6 days a week from March to November.

All The merino wool I use is sourced from non mulesed flocks and they are dyed with non toxic dyes so they are kind to animals and the enviroment. Most of my wool is south American in origin.

While all my items are securely felted and tested. Most items are not suitable for children as some have small parts or are for decorative use, wings may shed, wire is used for structure or thread is used to hang the item. (Items suitable for children to play with are clearly stated as such and have been fully CE tested)
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I turned to crafting after a bad fall. My Doctor advised finding an activity to occupy my mind. I always loved wool but never thought I'd get to work full time creating my fairies and art I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoyed making them
