Life in a small central Texas town
In the summer of 1997, my husband Jerry and I decided to leave our busy life in Ft Worth, Texas and opted for a slower pace in central Texas. We left lucrative jobs behind and I became a small town teacher while Jerry bought and still publishes a weekly newspaper. We decided on this radical change because we thought it would be an ideal location to raise our only son, Bob. Fast forward to spring of 2014 as Bob prepares to graduate high school and embark on an education at the awesome Texas A&M University.
As Bob grew, I found myself able to take up old hobbies and even add a few new ones. Several years ago I decided to try my hand at listing items I made on etsy. I decided this was just up my alley and opened "Mountain M" followed by "Fairy Mountain Supply". Jerry and I stay insanely busy watching Bob grow and taking care of loads of animals on our little farm.
