Frequently asked questions
How long will my order take to dispatch?
All Flare pieces are handmade to order. Orders are usually dispatched within 1–7 working days. This is our production and dispatch timeframe, not the delivery timeframe. Delivery begins once your order has been dispatched and will vary depending on the destination and service selected.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship internationally from our studio in Shrewsbury, England. Delivery times vary by destination and are separate from our 1–7 working day production time.
Please note that shipping to EU destinations is currently suspended due to increased customs, import and administrative costs associated with UK–EU shipping.
Please check your delivery details carefully when ordering, and feel free to contact us with any questions about international delivery.
How are your plaster pieces installed?
Most of our decorative plaster pieces can be installed using a suitable strong grab adhesive. Please ensure the surface is clean, secure and suitable before installation. Any light fitting must be securely fixed to the ceiling structure independently.
What happens if my order is damaged in transit?
Please contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged and include clear photographs of the item, packaging and damage. Please keep all packaging while the issue is being resolved. Where appropriate, we can arrange replacement sections or pieces and will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
What is the difference between Natural White and Primed White?
Natural White is the original cast plaster finish. Primed White has been prepared with a white primer, giving a brighter appearance ready to be left or decorated. Both finishes can be painted with standard interior emulsion to complement your room.
What is the difference between Battery and Mains Hardwired wall lights?
Our wall lights are available in two fitting options:
Battery – uses a remote-controlled multicolour LED light, so no mains wiring is required. This is ideal for easy installation or spaces without an existing wall-light connection. Batteries for the remote are not included.
Mains Hardwired – designed for connection to your existing mains wiring using an E14 light fitting. UK orders include an E14 bulb where stated; international orders may not include a bulb.
Mains electrical installation should always be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
