5 out of 5 starsOur transaction did not work out, as the mail service broke the ring into a few pieces. However, I did want to note that the owner reacted swiftly and refunded my monies immediately. She also did not require me to post the broken ring back to the UK, which I was very grateful for. Thanks and I am sorry that it did not work out.

Shop policies
My name is Cally Gooding. I'm based in South Devon and make ceramic forms in my studio.
All my ceramics are designed, made, glazed and fired by me personally.
At the moment I'm making a lot of thrown pots on an electric wheel, but I also hand build and sculpt. I usually work with stoneware clay; often white or porcelain, and pieces are usually glaze fired to a temperature of 1220 degrees centigrade which makes them very durable.
Every piece I make is individually and carefully finished. Attention is paid to not only to visual details but also tactile qualities that you will only appreciate when you hold the object in you hands.
As all my items are made individually (not from molds) they are all unique and 'exact' copies are not possible. However most of the jewellery can be fairly accurately reproduced with about three weeks’ notice, and more pots of a similar style could be made if requested.
Also be aware that because of the techniques involved in producing my work, pieces may (occasionally) appear to be have slight 'imperfections'. This is part of what makes each item unique and part of the charm of handmade goods. It will not affect the function or overall aesthetic of the item.
Most of my ceramics can be put in the dishwasher on gentle cycle, although I recommend hand washing.
Your item will arrive gift wrapped in tissue paper and carefully packaged. If you would like a message included just let me know.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
I post to most destinations around the world using Airmail services. Orders with a value of over £20 will automatically be sent tracked and signed for. Customs and local taxes for international sales are dependant on the country you live in and are the responsibility of the customer.
GENERAL
My priority when packing pots is that they get to you in one piece! I use tissue paper, bubble wrap, and any other packing materials to carefully secure your parcel. Please take care when opening ceramics as this can often be the moment when damages occur.
