Frustrated part time artist, becomes full time crafter.

I guess I always dreamed of a way that I could make money combining things that I loved, and went to school for-- making things, graphics, and photography. I imagined a little shop with handmade gifts that people would love to give and to receive, that would be passed down, and cherished, like some of the things people gave me when I was a child that I still have and surround myself with.

In 2008,I had been doing craft shows and the downtown farmer's market, selling earrings and personalized woodburned boxes, when someone told me I should open an etsy shop. It seemed like a great way for people to reach me again after purchasing a gift for someone special, and it was a great fit for me- working on the off hours after my full time job, before I was married.

Though my products and processes are ever evolving, I do love to work with my hands, and its has been great to work with people to develop a personalized gift that will be cherished. Being a stay at home Mom, being able to work whenever and however, has made a great deal of difference to me. I'm always looking for ideas and mediums to experiment with. I like to think that my little neighborhood shop would feature locally sourced materials, and a wide variety of price points- from high art to utility trinkets.

So here it is, without bricks and mortar... I hope that my love for history and found treasures and my desire to make quality items comes through, in black and white.

Returns and exchanges
I will always make good on items that are damaged by either repairing or replacing the item. Just send the pieces back to me(I will refund your shipping), and I will ship it back to you-no charge! If you are sending an item as a gift, be sure to let me know. (This way I will know they are the official recipient if they have any problems during shipping.) The best thing to do , if you are not sure about gift giving preference is a gift card. I make gift cards to send, that have a special coupon code that the receiver uses during checkout.

I will be shipping USPS, using recycled materials, whenever possible. I maintain receipts of all items shipped, and resolve lost items on a case by case basis. If an item is stolen or lost and needs to be replaced, I will I make every effort to duplicate that item, with variations. Please understand that each item is One of a Kind. I make every effort to confirm shipping addresses (and so far, have received ZERO problems!:) If you need to ship to address other than yours, please leave it in the notes. You can upgrade to expedite shipping for special occasions, just contact me for exact prices. International shipping rates will vary- buyer is responsible for customs fees/taxes... Before ordering, please message me to get an exact rate.
Additional policies and FAQs
I want my items to remain unique-- so I buy small quantities of materials. That means that sometimes I can't re-create items, exactly. Occasionally I have requests for duplicate items. Anything that is listed online, will be sold the way it is pictured, unless someone has just purchased it locally. Then I will either remove it from the site or make it with a slight variation. I want to retain the feel of each piece being "art". I am also allergy -conscious , so all of my materials have the least amount of smells possible, to accommodate as many people as possible.
I hope you enjoy my work, and I am always open to suggestions about anything, since I have a lot to learn, especially in the marketing end of things. Feel free to convo... and God Bless!
