Hello and welcome! I'm Valeriia, and I'm so glad you stopped by my shop.
Durante los últimos 10 años, he estado creando artículos hechos a mano para niños y sus espacios con amor, cuidado y un poco de magia.
De niña, me encantaba cubrir la mesa con una manta y pensar que era mi hogar secreto: un mundo acogedor donde la imaginación no tenía límites. Esa sensación de asombro y comodidad nunca me abandonó. Es lo que me sigue inspirando: crear espacios lúdicos y hermosos donde los niños puedan soñar, explorar y simplemente ser niños.
La maternidad despertó aún más mi creatividad. Cuando mi hija cumplió un año, le hice su primer tipi. ¡Le encantó! Lo llenó de libros, juguetes e incluso nos invitó a entrar. Se convirtió en su pequeño mundo. Ese fue el comienzo de ITSFORKIDS.
A lo largo de los años, he cosido todo tipo de cosas para los más pequeños: ropa de cama, bolsas para guardar juguetes, toallas suaves y más. Cuando nació mi hijo, quise que su entorno fuera igual de especial. Me encantaba el columpio MamaRoo, pero soñaba con darle un toque más suave y personal. Así que empecé a diseñar fundas personalizadas, y se convirtió en uno de mis proyectos favoritos.
Luego llegó la cama Kura de IKEA. Abrió un sinfín de posibilidades a la imaginación. Un día era el castillo de un caballero, al siguiente, una tienda de comestibles o un escondite secreto. Empecé a crear baldaquines y cortinas de tela para transformar esta cama en un mundo mágico, y desde entonces no he parado.
Diseñar para niños me llena de alegría. Creo que cada niño merece un espacio donde se sienta seguro, inspirado y libre para jugar. En el mundo actual de pantallas y dispositivos, el juego real es más importante que nunca. Espero que mis piezas hechas a mano te ayuden a crear una habitación de ensueño para tu pequeño, llena de calidez, asombro e imaginación.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been creating handmade items for children and their spaces with love, care, and a little bit of magic.
As a child, I loved to drape a blanket over the table and pretend it was my secret home - a cozy world of my own where imagination had no limits. That feeling of wonder and comfort never left me. It’s what still inspires me today: to create playful, beautiful spaces where kids can dream, explore, and just be kids.
Motherhood sparked even more creativity in me. When my daughter turned one, I made her first teepee - she loved it! She filled it with books, toys, and even invited us in. It became her little world. That was the beginning of ITSFORKIDS.
Over the years, I’ve sewn all kinds of things for little ones - bedding, toy storage bags, soft towels, and more. When my son was born, I wanted to make his surroundings just as special. I loved the MamaRoo swing but dreamed of giving it a softer, more personal look. So I started designing custom covers - and it became one of my favourite projects.
Then came the IKEA Kura bed. It opened up endless possibilities for imagination. One day it was a knight’s castle, the next - a grocery store or secret hideout. I began creating fabric canopies and curtains to transform this bed into a magical world - and I haven’t stopped since.
Designing for children brings me so much joy. I believe every child deserves a space where they feel safe, inspired, and free to play. In today’s world of screens and gadgets, real play is more important than ever. I hope my handmade pieces help you create a dream room for your little one - full of warmth, wonder, and imagination.
