Are the homeschool curriculums accredited?
No they are not accredited in any state or country. Homeschoolers are responsible for ensuring compliance will local regulations. The checklists are meant to be guides.
Are the homeschool checklists designed to be completed in one schoolyear?
Generally yes but most families work on 2-3 levels of curriculums over a couple of years depending on their learning pace. This is typical and the beauty of homeschooling is that each family can do what works for them.
Do I need to teach Science and Social Studies?
It depends on your local regulations and your preference. Most families will select one Science topic and one Social Studies topic for each schoolyear. It is not necessary to complete the entire list in one schoolyear.
Are you affiliated with any organization?
No I am an independent homeschooler who creates useful tools for other families like us.
Can these checklists be used for other countries?
Yes as long as you are ensuring that your local requirements are met as a homeschooler.
Can I submit these as my educational plan to meet state requirements?
Yes I used these to submit my intent to homeschool to our state. However, please verify that it meets the requirements of your state.
