Exactly what I wanted. Well made, attractive . I have a feeling that it might be purloined by my daughter when I see her at Christmas!

It is a pleasure to write a review for the delightful berry bowl that I ordered just last week. It arrived in record time! The stoneware and milky glaze are great quality.I am sure it will be used frequently in the kitchen and prove very versatile. The parcel was a treat as it had been packed so well with even a small tag with a heart on. A wonderful experience all round. Thank you.

Another fantastic item. Love it. Goes with the other items I have brought. Will be back.
I make handmade stoneware pots from my home studio in the English countryside.
I've always been drawn to pottery made on a wheel. Hand thrown pots have character and personality which comes from tiny random differences that occur in the throwing process. These ‘controlled accidents’ are what make each handmade pot unique.
I started my small pottery business in 2007. I work from my home studio based on the Isle of Wight in the UK. Most of my ceramics are practical pots we use everyday, such as jugs, mugs, bowls and vases. I enjoy designing 'solutions' to different types of daily function. Inspiration and ideas often come from cooking or wanting to have a certain type of pot in my own home.
I prefer throwing small batches of pots. This keeps things fresh and ensures the pots retain their own charm without becoming too uniform. All my pots are designed and made entirely by me.
My pottery is influenced by a modern rustic aesthetic. I enjoy using a variety of stoneware clays which have an earthy feel. All my pots are hand thrown on a pottery wheel and fired in an electric kiln. I make all my glazes from scratch and decorate my functional ware using simple colour combinations. These glazes are food safe and dishwasher safe.
Once a year I also make a batch of pit-fired or barrel-fired pots in my garden. This involves packing pots into a barrel full of wood and sawdust and setting it on fire. The results are completely unpredictable and great fun too!
My aim is to make hand thrown pots that people enjoy using in their homes everyday.

All my kitchenware pots are glazed with food safe glazes. These are also dishwasher safe but I recommend washing large items by hand.
My kitchenware pots haven't been tested in microwaves or traditional ovens and are unsuitable for use on hobs.
Pit fired pots are unsuitable for food or water as they remain porous. They can be cleaned using a dry cloth.
