About KallistoCandles
Kallisto Candles are unique, minimalist soy candles inspired by my favourite places, stories and smells.
Kallisto Candle Co was launched in early October with the dream of running my own creative business and creating amazing products that both myself and my customers love.
All Kallisto Candle collections are based upon my favourite stories, smells and memories. I'm passionate about only creating candles that are personal to myself and have a true meaning behind them. Our design is minimalistic, using recycled white paper labels, pure white soy wax and clear glass containers for a sleek and timeless finish. This means that wherever you chose to place your new candle, it will complement its surroundings and integrate seamlessly with your home.
Occasionally I like to create custom limited edition collections using dried fruit for Christmas candles, shimmer powder or little handmade ornaments to help tell the story behind the candle. They have a certain charm about them and are sure to brighten up any room.
The process behind launching a candle takes a while. I want to make sure that the scent perfectly matches up with the sentiment behind it. I start with the book/ movie/ memory/ place i want to capture within my candle and brainstorm how it makes me feel... all the aesthetic, flavours and smells that encapsulate it. Then i can choose a recurrent theme and search for niche fragrances to create the candle. Our labels subtly hint at the chosen theme with a minimalistic hand-drawn symbol or picture, as not to overwhelm the beauty of the candle itself.
