Playful, illustrated jewellery, made with ethics and sustainability in mind.

Hello! I'm Kate, and I run a jewellery design studio in rural Northamptonshire. I studied illustration and bring my love of drawing into designing jewellery. Each piece begins life as a sketch, and I work to retain the hand drawn aesthetic through the precise laser cutting process. My design ethos is to create playful, conversation-starting jewellery made from ethically sourced materials.

Materials and manufacturing: Each piece is made from responsibly sourced plywood and acrylic and UK manufactured jewellery findings. Everything is laser cut, finished, painted and assembled by myself. I use as little single-use plastic as possible, with the hope of one day being completely waste-free.

If you have an idea or a commission in mind, I would be delighted to hear from you. I can create custom jewellery designs, laser cut signs, cake toppers...

Jewellery Care

When you are not wearing it, please store your jewellery away from sunlight and moisture. Its original packaging - a jewellery box or cloth pouch - is perfect. Remove any jewellery when washing or applying cosmetics and creams. Wood absorbs water and can warp, therefore I do not advise wearing it in rainy or humid conditions.

Acrylic can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth such as a microfibre, or glasses cleaning cloth. Please do not use abrasive polishes, as they will damage the surface.

Take care when putting on and removing your jewellery, especially earrings with butterfly backs or hoops.

Environmental Policy

As a small business I take every possible measure to create minimal waste and impact on the environment.

All of my packaging is fully recyclable and FSC approved. No plastic!

Jewellery boxes are made in the UK from recycled card, with no glue. Linen pouches are handmade by my mum, from deadstock linen. They can be reused again and again for multiple uses!

I buy UK manufactured findings where possible to limit the carbon footprint and ensure my jewellery is as ethical as possible.

I minimise waste by using every inch of my materials, and creating jewellery from offcuts. I have never put acrylic into landfill and I am hoping to find new ways to turn excess material into more jewellery!
