Why Miniatures?

I'm not sure why, but I've always loved miniatures. I come from a creative family, and my mom taught me to sew at an early age. When I was 8, I made my first teddy bear pattern. When I was 11, I began sewing miniature teddy bears. I've been sewing minis ever since.

Why dragons?
I always liked dragons (of the friendly variety). I kept wanting a mini pet dragon, and finally came up with a good pattern! Mini dragons are now my primary focus, though I enjoy playing around with all sorts of other art.

What else?
Along with sewing dragons, I sometimes create needle felted dust bunnies. They're on a mission to eliminate vacuuming.

Despite my shop name, not everything I do is miniature. I've always loved stuffed animals, and it was only a matter of time before I came up with a pattern for a large plush dragon. I've also made a few toy commissions over the years, and I enjoy designing toys for my own two kids! As I can, I'm making my designs available as patterns, so others can enjoy them as well!

Welcome to Katrina's Miniatures! I primarily make miniature dragons, with some dust bunnies and other animals appearing at times. All are hand-made by me with great attention to detail. I also enjoy making plush toys and have begun making the patterns available for others to enjoy as well.

Except for the plush toys, my animals are collectibles. They are not suitable for young children.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

Returns and exchange details
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item to me, undamaged, within three weeks of the date you received it. You must contact me within two weeks of receiving the item. Except for unusual circumstances, I will not refund shipping, and I will refund your purchase when I receive the item.

If your item suffers damage at any time for any reason, please contact me, and I will be glad to repair it if possible. The circumstances causing damage and the extent of damage will determine whether or not you pay for shipping and time for repairs.

Due to the digital nature of patterns, returns are not possible for patterns.

Items will be shipped when payment is received.
Delivery
I aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days. Shipping costs include packaging costs.

All items ship from the state of Michigan, USA.

Items will be shipped with USPS. You may choose at checkout from First Class, Priority, or Express. The price shown on the listing's page is First Class. If you need your item quickly, an upgrade is recommended.

Any information you provide to me is used only for the purposes of fulfilling your order and providing customer service. I do not save any personal information outside of Etsy, and I will not send you any messages or emails unrelated to your order.
