Fantastic as always! This is my third needle organizer fro Madbird - they are all lovely, well constructed, and whimsical.

madbird is Alecia and Rob Miller. We met in art school in the mid 90's, and graduated with BFAs in 1999.

Alecia became a public school art teacher, but soon left teaching to be home with our first son. In 2009, a couple years after our fourth son was born, Alecia opened shop as madbird on Etsy. She is the product designer and creator for everything offered in the shop.

During his off hours as a consultant, Rob takes care of all madbird photography, media design and product shipping.

Alecia likes scary movies, the beach, knitting, cross stitching, sewing, and ice cream.

Rob likes reading, good music, and Alecia.

A little north of Boston, Massachusetts is where we call home with our four sons & one little girl ❤️

Product variation

The item you receive will look very similar to what is shown. It will be made with the exact same fabric you see in the listing, but pattern placement will vary.

Pattern placement refers to the placement of specific motifs, designs, or patterns that are present on the fabric(s) of each product.

We cannot guarantee the placement of the fabric designs or motifs on your item will exactly match the pictured item, as each cut of fabric for each item will be a little different.

Also, while we try VERY hard to depict all colors accurately, but please understand that all monitors are different (especially laptops!), and colors may vary a bit. Thanks!

Shipping Internationally

We use USPS First Class to ship international packages. Please allow up to six weeks from shipment for delivery. Tracking service is NOT included, nor is insurance. If you would like tracking service and/or insurance for your order, you must purchase Priority Mail through USPS.

Please contact us before purchasing for a Priority Mail quote - this is the ONLY way we are able to track and insure international packages. If you decline Priority Mail, we cannot be held responsible for lost packages. Thank you!

All custom's forms on international packages will list the contents, disclosing the full USD value of your order. We will not mark any international shipments as "gift", it is illegal to do so.

Custom and personalized orders

We do accept any custom orders for fabric substitutions only. We cannot accept custom requests for design modifications, or for products we don't currently offer.

You may have your own fabric sent to us for custom orders if you wish. Please note: we do *not* discount items for which you send us fabric, and we can only accept new and unwashed 100% cotton quilting fabric for your order. Please convo or email us with so that we can advise the correct amount of yardage needed for your custom order - - thank you!

Everything you see in our shop is already made and ready to ship. Therefore we cannot accept requests for specific fabric pattern placement or substitutions, unless you are placing a custom order.

About returns/exchanges

Your satisfaction is very important to us! If you’re not happy with your purchase, please contact us. *Returns must be received back to us within 14 days of receipt of purchase. Once that time has elapsed we are unable to accept returns/exchanges*

Items must be received back in the original unused condition in which they were sent out. Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item(s) returned, less the shipping fee. Please note that the return shipping fee is the buyer’s responsibility and the original shipping fee is non-refundable.

**All seasonal/holiday items as well as items bought on sale or with a discount cannot be returned and are non-refundable/exchangeable.**
