Miss Knit Nat is a range of luxury knitted accessories including snoods, scarves headbands, hats and gloves, designed and made in Great Britain from quality British spun lambswool. Accessories use geometric knitted patterns and blending neutral and vibrant colours to create a signature style with wearability.

I have always had a love for knitting and crochet which was rediscovered a few years ago and lead to the launch of Miss Knit Nat in 2011, and I have been building my collection since then. I grew up on the edge of the New Forest and close to the sea and a lot of my items are inspired by long walks on winter days in the forest, and sunny days by the seaside.

I learnt to hand knit from a very young age and have since trained in machine knitting, launching the start of the lambswool collection in 2014, all knitted on a hand powered knitting machine and finished by hand. In designing knitting patterns I tend to be inspired by things that are all around me, which can translate into knitted shapes and patterns, I then play around with these ideas and deconstruct them to make the final knitted pieces.

As the collection has progressed I have introduced a small collection of hats and gloves, knitted in Scotland working with a mill by their expert team. The scarves and headbands I continue to make myself from my Surrey studio.

I also sell a selection of knitting patterns for you to make your own chunky knitted accessories, these are available to download as PDF files.
