About

Botanical Jewellery with real flowers that have been used to lovingly make each little unique pieces of jewellery.

Hi there, a warm welcome to you!

My shop contains handmade jewellery that mainly consist of real flowers picked from The Common where I live in Norfolk, England. After picking the flowers, I then go through the process of removing the green stem from the back of each forget-me-not flower and then lay them in rows on my flower press. The flowers are then dried and pressed over a period of a couple weeks. Once they're ready to use, I choose the best colour and shape and delicately use them to make a selection of unique pieces of jewellery.

I have always had a love for forget-me-not flowers ever since my grandfather was a Freemason. The German Freemasons used the flower as a symbol and with a clear meaning 'Do not forget the poor and the destitute'. The English Freemasons usually wear the flower to remember those that have died as a symbol that they may be gone but not forgotten. My grandfather was a very inspirational part of my life; he was funny, loving, caring and wise. He was my world and I loved him dearly. He died when I was 22 years old and in memory of him I had a tattoo of a forget-me-not on my ankle.

Forget me nots aren't always a symbol of the lost; Forget-Me-Not flowers also symbolize true love. The forget-me-not flowers are a medium, "true blue", and as the name suggests, they are given or used to decorate gifts with the hope the recipient will not forget the giver. They also symbolizes faithful love and memories.

Why the name, momatuvi? Well, I have four children; Morgan, Mason, Turaya and Vitoria and by using the first two initials of each name, spells - momatuvi. Tah, dah!

I have since discovered that Tuvi means Peace - so I like to think of Momatuvi as The Mother of Peace.

All other items may be refunded or replaced within 28 days of purchase providing you return them in the condition in which you received them. Shipping
As a shopper myself, I empathise with the importance of receiving products within the time frame in which was promised. In view of this, I am committed to offering a great service and will endeavour to get your items to you as soon as possible. However as many items may have been handmade or custom-made, delivery times may vary, depending on how much work is required in the creation of each product. Busy seasons, such as Christmas, may also affect delivery times too.

If more than one product is ordered which differ from each other, they may be dispatched at separate times too, reflecting on the nature of production or manufacture.

Despatch time-scales on most products will be made within 24-48 hours from ordering. However, the despatch time-scales on other products will be clearly detailed under item description. Once goods have been sent, I will send you a despatch confirmation email informing you that your products are on their way to you. If you'd like an item to be dispatched sooner, do please leave a note and I'll try to get your order to you faster.

I would like to point out that, as I am currently using Royal mail as my delivery service, I have no control over the actual time-scale of the delivery or any damage caused during transit. I am happy using their service as a way to deliver goods to my customers and have had no known problems with their service in the past. However, in the unlikely event that your goods will take longer to deliver and not manufacture than specified in the product description, you will be notified by email as to when you can expect to receive the goods. In addition, should your goods arrive damaged, a refund or replacement may be offered. Should you wish to cancel your order prior to it being created, you will be able to do so at this point.
