Announcement    Welcome to My Baboo - our knitting mission is to create fun, high quality designs for you to cherish and most of all will put a smile on your face - you can't ask for more than that!

Based in Central Scotland overlooking the Campsie Hills, I trained and worked as an architect for nearly 20 years, in 2008 I hung up my hard hat and turned my love of knitting into My Baboo.

Being able to create a business form my hobby has been a dream come true and I haven't looked back since.

The wool I use is milled in the north of Scotland in a mill that was established in 1798, in a palett of beautiful colours.
We make fun tea cosies, clothing accessories, little creatures and knitting kits for you to try yourself!

I'll be adding new lines every week so make sure to stop by to see what new wooly goddies I have made!

Thanks for taking the time to have a look.

My Baboo -making the everyday special with beautiful handcrafted designs Made in Scotland

"She's good with her hands" is how my mum used to describe me, and I remember my gran teaching me to knit when I was just a little girl.
I studied and worked as an Architect in Central Scotland for nearly 20 years, knitting was my 'relaxation' in the evening till one day I decided to give up my career and follow a dream of starting my own knitting business. That was in 2008, and I have been 'building' My Baboo ever since.
My home studio overlooks the Campsie Hills in Scotland, where I create all my little wooly designs. The pure wool I use is milled in the north of Scotland from a company that was established in 1798. My aim is to make everyday objects special, and that are guaranteed to put a smile on your face, it certainly keeps my happy making them!

We love making our wooly creations and we want you to love them too - it's as simple as that!
Based in central Scotland, we use beautiful wool from a mill in the north of Scotland that was established in 1798.
Surrounded by hills (and sheep!) inspires us to design fun products that make everyday just that little bit special and that you can cherish for ever.
