Announcement   Colourful beaded jewellery, kits and patterns from a UK bead artist. Also upcycled cutlery wind chimes, vintage tableware, and quirky and personalisable hand stamped spoons and forks.

I accept Paypal and also credit cards (via Etsy Payments). You can also offer me trades, vintage teaspoons (yes, really, the older and more battered the better, and they don't have to be silver!) or chocolate - no harm in asking, the worst I'll do is say 'no' and I promise to do it politely.

Keep an eye on my blog and social media pages to find out more (links are in my About section) and feel free to convo me if you have any questions!

This is where the hand stamping happens! No sophisticated equipment, just dies, bench block and a big hammer...
Vintage cutlery makes great food photo props - I can add your favourite hashtag or your social media handle too!

Welcome to my beady world... now with added cutlery!

I just love to make things out of beads, all kinds of beads! My beadwork is very individual, each piece is different, and it's such fun seeing my creations find new homes and travel to parts of the world where I've never been myself.

I design a lot of kits and patterns too, to enable other beaders to have the same sort of fun that I do, combining colours and shapes to make something unique. I never get tired of seeing how each pattern turns out for each maker - very often my customers come up with a colour combination or design tweak that I'd never have thought of. Each of us is unique and that's something to be celebrated!

I work from home, alternating between a lovely light upstairs room in the winter and a garden shedio in the summer. Both stuffed full of all kinds of crafting materials, pictures, books and hoarded ephemera... It looks like chaos but I do know where (almost) everything is! It inspires me to have lots of beautiful things around me. I am very fortunate.

My creative process also looks like chaos: it consists of piling a big mixture of all sorts of beads on a tray and playing with them until I've got the colours right. Sometimes there is a sketch; sometimes the design is in my head; sometimes it just comes from the materials themselves. I try not to think about it too much. My subconscious is a much better judge than I am!

I've just finished writing my first ever beading book, 'Learn to Make Bead Jewellery,' a colourful and friendly guide to stringing and basic wirework for the adventurous beginner. It was published in December 2015 by Kalmbach (US) and Search Press (UK). If you've read it, do let me know what you think and which projects you decided to make.

Following on from a Dada art event in my home town, for which I was commissioned to help make a range of sonic installations (check out my #DadaGarden tag on Twitter or Facebook), I've diversified into upcycling vintage cutlery into wind chimes. Hand stamping and embellishing spoons was just such fun, I didn't want to stop!

I have a sporadic blog at and am also on Facebook, where you can see updates on work-in-progress, find out about forthcoming kits, tutorials and new designs, benefit from the occasional special offer or sale, and share some of the many lovely things I find on my virtual travels around the internet... you'll find me @lynnsbeadypage or click the link below.

Additional policies and FAQs
All my jewellery is made with love and care and as well as I can make it. Please treat it with respect and it should last you for years - handle it carefully and avoid tugging it sharply, be kind when opening and closing the clasps, store it flat and out of direct sunlight, keep it dry, avoid contact with perfumes and other cosmetics (they may damage the finish on certain beads), and remember that most of the beads I use are made of glass, so if they're dropped on a hard surface they may not survive intact!

My windchimes are likewise carefully made but please treat with respect and avoid tugging sharply on the chains. Hang from a secure attachment point out of children's reach. Not all are suitable for outdoor use so please read the description before you purchase.

My vintage items are photographed and described as honestly as I know how. Most of the cutlery is still perfectly suitable for everyday use. To prolong their useful life, avoid soaking items with pearl or celluloid handles and try not to polish silverplate too often.

My tutorials are available in English language only.

Business contact details are given in the EU standard cancellation notice in the Refund/Returns & Exchanges Policy section.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through or its related sites and services.

You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order of hand stamped cutlery, for example), if you contact me directly.

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and (2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for up to 7 years (as required by UK tax law), after which your data is erased or otherwise destroyed.
- Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU. I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.
